Shipping policy

Free shipping on orders of $70 or more to most of Canada.

Every order is blended and bagged fresh at our farm in Newington, Ontario, and ships within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed Friday after 12pm go out Monday morning.

How shipping is priced

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout from Canada Post's live rates for your postal code, and we cover part of the cost on every order. The price you see at checkout is final. We'll never ask for more after you order.
  • Orders of $70 or more (before taxes) ship free to most addresses in Canada.
  • Some northern, remote and fly-in communities, including Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, cost much more to reach and don't qualify for free shipping. You'll see the exact cost for your address at checkout.
  • Ordering for a group, school or community? Email us at info@arukahwormfarm.ca and we'll quote a combined shipment, which is often much cheaper per bag.

Delivery

  • Delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days in Ontario and Quebec, 5 to 8 elsewhere in Canada, and 7 to 14 to northern and remote communities. These are carrier estimates rather than promises. Once your parcel leaves us, weather and holidays are out of our hands.
  • Every parcel is tracked. If yours goes missing or arrives damaged, get in touch within 14 days and we'll make it right.
  • Please double-check your address at checkout. We can't replace an order delivered to an address entered incorrectly. If a parcel comes back to us as undeliverable, we'll refund the product cost less the shipping.

Free local pickup

Choose pickup at checkout and we'll email you when your order is ready, usually within 2 to 4 days.

  • Our farm: 14831 Sandtown Road, Newington
  • Présentex: 300 Moulinette Road, Long Sault (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm)

Please wait for our email before coming by.

Our packaging

Every order ships in a corrugated cardboard box, packed with kraft paper instead of plastic fill. Both are curbside recyclable. Our pouches are micro-perforated so your castings can breathe on the way to you, and the biology arrives alive.
